About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Director to join our Transmission and Distribution team in QLD. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of complex transmission and distribution projects, providing technical expertise and guidance to our clients, and contributing to the growth and development of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of transmission and distribution projects, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients, including design, construction, and operation of transmission and distribution systems.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners to identify business opportunities and drive growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects, including electrical engineers, project managers, and construction teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure our team's expertise and knowledge remain current.
Requirements
  • 15+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a strong background in transmission and distribution.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects, with a focus on technical excellence and client satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Strong commercial and contractual acumen, with the ability to negotiate and manage contracts.
  • Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or Registered Professional Engineer Queensland (RPEQ) certification.
