The Opportunity:
Our Digital Technology team is responsible for developing and enabling future-fit tools, capabilities and mindsets. We're seeking an experienced Database Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of differentiated services for our clients.
This new role is focused on specifying, creating, maintaining and connecting databases within our Azure environments. You'll work within our cross-functional agile teams, and alongside our Labs team to create and support client-facing solutions and internal initiatives. As legal work is increasingly digitised, the need to structure, store and manipulate our client's data and our own content is a key differentiator.

We're looking for someone who has:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in database engineering or administration, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure.
- Proficiency in Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, and other Azure data services.
- Expertise in programming languages such as C#, JavaScript, Python, or similar.
- Experience and confidence with development tools and methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and DevOps practices.
- Passionate about getting your hands dirty and working proactively in a fast-paced, constantly adapting environment.
- High attention to detail, the ability to work with cross-functional teams, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Expertise and interest in generative AI and the risks and opportunities it presents in software tools and the development of those tools.
