Our organization acknowledges the importance of speechwriting in effective communication. We are seeking a highly skilled Speechwriter to join our team.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional writing skills, with the ability to craft engaging speeches, briefs, and other written materials for senior leaders.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing high-level written material for our Executive Team, including speeches, briefing notes, opinion pieces, social media content, and internal communications.
  • Providing advice to senior leaders on key messages, speaking opportunities, media announcements, and events.
  • In partnership with the Communication Manager, identifying key internal and external engagement opportunities and amplification strategies for the Executive Team in line with our strategy.
  • Ensuring executive engagements align with our Communication Calendar and promoting them through our channels.
  • Liaising with Executive Offices to plan and prepare engagements.
  • Supporting executive media training, coaching, and development.

Requirements include a tertiary qualification in communication or a related field, as well as significant experience in speechwriting for senior leaders, including coaching and strategic counsel at executive level.
