Job Opportunity: Field Service Technician

As a Field Service Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the optimal performance of our equipment. Your expertise in assembly, maintenance, and repair of construction and mining equipment will be essential in providing quality diagnostic and general maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • The repair and maintenance of both new and used equipment, adhering to industry standards and best practices
  • Conduct basic failure analysis and identify specific modes of failure to minimize downtime and optimize resource allocation
  • Preparation and testing of pre-delivery inspections for new equipment to ensure seamless handover
  • Ensuring all work carried out is performed in a safe manner, prioritizing operator and team safety
  • Completion and submission of accurate and detailed reports, including relevant paperwork
Requirements:
  • A relevant Mechanical Trade qualification, with Commercial Vehicle trades also being considered
  • Previous experience in the assembly, overhaul, repair, and servicing of mechanical and hydraulic components on construction and/or mining equipment
  • High Risk Work licences (forklift, dogging, working at heights, etc) - highly regarded
  • A strong safety focus with a good understanding of Workplace Health and Safety principles
  • Excellent communication skills and a dedication to delivering high-quality work
