Job Overview

The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure seamless guest experiences by handling check-ins, check-outs, room assignments and change requests efficiently.

  • Process all guest arrivals and departures while ensuring accurate rate matching and billing.
  • Verify and secure payments, activate or reissue room keys as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of guest transactions and communicate with staff regarding room availability.
  • Provide exceptional customer service through clear communication and proactive issue resolution.
  • Work collaboratively with Housekeeping to manage room status and guest concerns effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work accurately under pressure. Proficiency in operating a telephone switchboard station and maintaining accurate records is also essential.

  • Familiarity with computer systems for managing guest data and transactions.
  • Able to count and manage cash securely.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration and conflict resolution.
