The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Project Management Coordinator to support our MPS Project Manager and MITSS. As a key member of our team, you will plan, organize, coordinate, and control the scheduling of team tasking, priorities, and sprint planning activities, adhering to established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements.

You will be responsible for ensuring required project information is available when and where it is needed to support other service management processes. Your contributions will directly impact the success of our Defence projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage assigned projects, including performance accountability
  • Coordinate and execute project operations and activities
  • Support capture and business pursuit activities
  • Meet project scope, schedule, and budget plans
  • Provide meeting secretariat support to scheduled project meetings
  • Assist in workforce planning for current projects and proposal capture activities
  • Engage with customers and stakeholders
  • Exercise autonomy and personal accountability for team outcomes
  • Attend customer meetings as required
  • Report on project status
  • Identify and manage technical risks and issues
  • Improve documentation produced in support of project development and sustainment
  • Contribute to meeting assigned tasks within project deliverables
  • Maintain relationships at all levels
  • Foster a positive work environment

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years' experience in project management coordination
  • Qualifications in related technical or project management fields
  • Experience in software development environments
  • Strong client and staff engagement skills
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills
  • Current or eligible for a Defence security clearance
  • Highly articulate with excellent attention to detail
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills

Desirable Skills:

  • CASG/Defence/Defence Industry experience
  • Project Scheduling experience
  • Advanced Office Computing Application knowledge in Win10, Excel, and Word
  • Software Testing experience
  • Ability to integrate Power BI with Azure DevOps
