Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute internal communications strategies to engage employees and promote company initiatives
  • Collaborate with regional leaders to develop and implement communications plans aligned with business objectives
  • Coordinate regional events, including all-employee meetings, people-leader meetings, tradeshows, and community or other site-specific events
  • Partner with employee resource group leads to promote each group and ensure alignment with overall company messaging
  • Develop and write content, including company news articles, speeches, employee communications, and videos
  • Maintain regional content, applications, and micro-sites for Wabtec's internal intranet platform
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience working on a corporate communications team within a product-based environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to navigate organizational hierarchies and structures in a matrix organization across multiple time zones
  • Understanding of and interest in Manufacturing/Rail/Transport industry
  • Highly process and detail-oriented with strong analytical/problem-solving skills
  • Proactive approach to communications planning and execution
  • Strong project and relationship management skills
  • Proven ability to manage changing requirements and short timelines without diminishing quality of execution or outcome
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and video editing and website content management platforms
