About the Role

Cleanaway, a leading waste management company in Australia, is seeking a Senior Associate level lawyer to join its high-performing in-house team at Head Office. As a key member of the team, you will provide strategic legal input into all aspects of business activities and projects, delivering timely and pragmatic advice on legal matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise on a wide range of commercial matters, including contracts, M&A, joint ventures, projects, litigation, and dispute resolution.
  • Provide strategic legal input into business activities and projects, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with the General Counsel & Company Secretary to promote the commercial success of the business.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years' post-admission experience gained at a well-recognized firm.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to provide strategic legal advice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
