Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Lead Planner to join our team at Vestas Wind Australia. As a key member of our Service Scheduling team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our wind farms across Victoria, Australia.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have 5 years of relevant experience in planning and scheduling, with a strong understanding of technical service environments. You will be responsible for performing annual capacity plan consolidation, balancing capacity between dispatchers, and managing streamlined resource management. Additionally, you will be expected to implement global planning and scheduling projects, manage material and resource analytics, and ensure regular performance reporting to management.

Responsibilities
  1. Perform annual capacity plan consolidation for allocated service territories, including quarterly follow-up
  2. Balance capacity between dispatchers within allocated service territories, with close cooperation and dialogue with Dispatchers and Capacity Planners
  3. Manage sub-region anchor points for streamlined resource management, global planning and scheduling project implementation, material and resource analytics, and performance driver
  4. Regularly report performance to management, balancing all assigned territory orders to ensure minimum downtime and maximum productivity
  5. Ensure service crew composition is up-to-date and adjusted to demand, with tools, parts & services planned and monitored on time before crew mobilization
  6. Manage crew schedules on a day-to-day basis, aligning the service schedule with obligations in service contracts
  7. Guarantee timely communication to crews and partners
  8. Balance KPIs and PPIs related to Planning & Scheduling
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent
  2. Technical understanding and planning exposure essential for success in this position
  3. Proficient in MS Office, SAP, and Salesforce
  4. 5 years of relevant experience
