About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at the Boston Shaker Gold mine. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing effective supervision to our plant maintenance crews to deliver exceptional results in terms of safety, leadership, plant service delivery, and cost.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise maintenance personnel and subcontractors during shifts to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Conduct informal individual feedback reviews with direct reports to promote growth and development.
  • Identify and implement improvement opportunities to enhance workplace safety, productivity, and efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to project budget and forecast.
Requirements
  • Relevant trade qualifications and extensive knowledge of heavy earthmoving equipment and underground ancillary plant.
  • Detailed knowledge of mining and safety regulations.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge to understand equipment capabilities, maintenance scheduling, and preventative maintenance methods.
  • Supervisory management skills and not less than five years of trade experience as a tradesperson.
  • Experience gained on a varied range of equipment and a valid driver's license (manual).
