Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and commercial-minded professional to fill the role of Solution Consultant - Indirect Tax. This position involves partnering with sales teams to grow advocacy for our indirect tax product portfolio across the Australian market.

The ideal candidate will work with prospects and customers to solve complex indirect tax challenges using our platform, combining tax domain knowledge, technical aptitude, and consultative selling skills.

The successful individual will be responsible for:

  • Engaging in solution advocacy and providing expertise during the sales cycle.
  • Understanding customer requirements and developing strong proposals that meet their needs.
  • Leading complex discussions and defining problems as the go-to indirect tax specialist.
  • Responding quickly to new leads and progressing deals through the sales cycle.
  • Developing and helping close new opportunities to meet and exceed recurring and outright Gross Sales quotas.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry news and changes in policy, regulations, and activities of major players.

About You

You're a fit for this role if you have the following qualifications:

  • 6–8 years of total industry experience, with a background in indirect tax compliance.
  • Hands-on experience using or implementing Thomson Reuters tax solutions (e.g., ONESOURCE) or adjacent indirect tax software.
  • Exceptional client-facing and presentation skills.
  • Strong commercial skills, including an understanding of the sales process.
