Indirect Tax Professional

We are seeking an experienced Indirect Tax professional to join our team as a Solutions Consultant.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in indirect tax compliance and experience working with clients to navigate complex GST, e-invoicing, and digital reporting.

This is a client-facing role that requires excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with sales teams to grow advocacy for our indirect tax product portfolio.

The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging with clients to understand their needs and developing solutions to address their indirect tax challenges.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing solution advocacy using best-in-class technology and providing product expertise during the sales cycle.

  • Understanding customer requirements and needs and finding the best solution within our capability to develop a suitable and strong proposal.

  • Serving as the go-to indirect tax specialist leading complex discussions, defining problems, and scoping scalable solutions that meet customer needs.

  • Responding quickly to new leads and working with urgency to progress deals through the sales cycle.

  • Developing and helping to close new opportunities to meet and exceed recurring and outright gross sales quotas.

  • Keeping up to date with news and changes in policy, regulations, and activities of major players in the industries to have sufficient domain knowledge to lead discussion with customers and present expertise in public.

  • Assisting in key retention situations bringing domain expertise relevant to the customer as agreed with the appropriate stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 6-8 years of total industry experience with a background in indirect tax compliance gained at an accounting/law firm or within an Australian corporation.
