Senior Contract Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to work on a fixed-term contract with our client Main Roads WA until June 2025 based in Perth.
This role offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
- Preparing contract documentation, managing the tendering process for programs and individual packages of work;
- Managing contracts and contractors to ensure that contracts are completed to approved scope, budget, time and quality;
- Managing contract grievances, payments, claims, variations and disputes;
- Undertaking delegated contact management duties as appointed e.g. Superintendent's Representative;
Review or arrange the review of constructability to ensure delivery of the contract scope, budget, time and quality.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- 8 years+ experience in a similar role, with contract management experience;
- Contract development and management for various forms of contract;
- Experience in one or more of road and/or bridge construction and/or maintenance projects/contracts;
- Building and enhancing stakeholder relationships;
- Engineering qualifications are preferred, though not essential; Experience in design and maintenance of concrete bridges is highly desirable.
Under this contract, we provide centralised and regional support to assist Main Roads manage and maintain the State Road network.
