Service Desk Analyst Job Description

The primary goal of this role is to provide exceptional IT support and be the first point of contact for users with technical issues.

This position requires a combination of technical expertise, effective communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

  • Provide timely, professional, and courteous assistance to users with various ICT-related problems.
  • Respond promptly to helpdesk calls and escalate critical issues as necessary.
  • Document, log, and monitor support desk issues and follow-up activities.
  • Install software, utilities, and hardware peripherals as required.
  • Monitor system operations and performance, analyze trouble trends, and develop improvements where necessary.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Qualifications in IT or a related field (desirable).
  • Experience in assisting end-users with ICT issues, preferably in a large organization.
  • Excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including problem resolution, negotiation, and influencing.
  • Enthusiastic and energetic attitude with the ability to work calmly under pressure.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
