The Role:

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team in Liverpool NSW, covering the NSW region. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for selling energy and communication cables and associated accessories directly to asset owners, EPCs, and major projects across New South Wales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute business development strategies, in consultation with the Channel Manager, to expand our market presence in industrial projects and renewable energy.
  • Lead Tender process and Commercial negotiations for Strategic Projects.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with blue-chip customers and major projects in the oil and gas, road and rail infrastructure, renewable energy, and OEM market segments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
  • Prepare and present proposals, negotiations, and contract discussions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure project delivery aligns with client expectations and company standards.
  • Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to inform business strategy.

Qualifications & what you need to be successful:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business development, particularly within the industrial projects or renewable energy sectors.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics, industry trends, and regulatory environments.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven history of success in business development roles growing new and existing business.
  • Preferably has demonstrated experience within the Industrial market segments or with Tier One EPC's, but not essential.

A dynamic role with a large amount of autonomy to make decisions within certain guidelines.
