Senior Cook Positions Available in Retirement Communities
About the RoleWe are seeking experienced and reliable Senior Cooks to join our team in Victoria. As a Senior Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving nutritious meals to residents across multiple communities.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a community setting, providing high-quality meal services to our residents. If you have a passion for cooking and enjoy working independently, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare, cook, and serve meals in line with community menus and dietary requirements
- Maintain kitchen hygiene standards and ensure residents enjoy a positive dining experience
- Monitor and record food temperatures and follow food safety procedures
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Food Safety Supervisor Accreditation (or willingness to obtain)
- A C-Class Driver's Licence and own vehicle
- First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Knowledge of HACCP and safe food handling practices
