Churches of Christ, One Table Café – Little Mountain

Permanent Part Time – 40 hours per fortnight

About the Role :

Churches of Christ Queensland are currently seeking an additional Café Cook for 'One Table Café' based at Little Mountain on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. This role involves working within our Café assisting with food handling, food preparation, and basic cooking duties, as well as maintaining a clean kitchen environment and basic record keeping.

About You

Are you somebody who is passionate about food and serving your community?

Our ideal candidate has :

Essential :
  • Proven experience in commercial food preparation and cooking
  • Strong knowledge of safe food hygiene practices and kitchen safety
  • Availability on Fridays and Saturdays from 6am to 2pm
  • Current Police Check and Blue Card, or willingness to obtain them
  • Valid Australian Work Rights (no sponsorship available)
Desirable :
  • Barista experience (highly desirable but not essential)
  • Experience supervising and training junior kitchen staff and trainees
  • Flexibility to pick up extra shifts as needed
