
Beef Cattle Enterprise Manager

A unique role has become available for a Livestock Manager to work closely with the owner of a family-owned beef cattle enterprise.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring they are completed in a professional and timely manner.
- Manage all aspects of beef cattle husbandry, including breeding, weaning, feeding, drafting, assessing, and maintaining water quality.
- Develop and implement pasture management plans, including seeding and maintenance.
- Operate a range of machinery, including tractors, seeding and spraying equipment, and other heavy-duty vehicles.
- Drive trucks and perform tasks such as fencing, workshop duties, and general maintenance.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Demonstrated experience in beef cattle breeding and management (3-5 years).
- Pasture production experience.
- Knowledge of tractor operation and maintenance, including servicing.
- Ideal accreditation in HR, AgSafe, or ChemCert, or a willingness to obtain these.
The location is approximately 100km south of Perth in the Peel Region.
