The Scape Commercial Tenancy Asset Manager is a dedicated and vigilant professional responsible for managing relationships with our commercial and retail tenants in Victoria.

This role entails overseeing the management, performance, and contractual obligations of our university campus asset at Scape Franklin.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with commercial and retail tenants in Victoria
  • Oversee the management, performance, and contractual obligations of the university campus asset at Scape Franklin
  • Develop and implement effective management strategies to maximize the value of the asset
  • Ensure optimal performance through vigilant monitoring and proactive problem-solving
  • Build and maintain relationships with university stakeholders, including faculty, staff, and students
  • Develop and implement sustainability practices and energy management strategies for campus assets
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in asset management in a similar commercial and retail role
  • Fluent knowledge in maintenance, tenancy management, and relevant legislation
  • Strong financial acumen and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to operate IT systems and other tenancy-related technologies proficiently
  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience in asset management, preferably in the education sector or with large-scale facilities
  • Strong knowledge of property management principles, including leasing, space planning, and facility maintenance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
