Job Summary
About the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Homecare Support Worker to join our team. As a Homecare Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting clients to maintain their independence at home. You will provide personal care, respite care, and help clients stay active and connected in their community.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care to clients including showering, dressing, and grooming
- Offer respite care to give carers a break
- Help clients stay active and engaged in their community
- Follow care plans to meet each person's unique needs
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A caring nature and passion for helping others
- Good communication skills and ability to listen to clients and team members
- Ability to work independently using technology in your role
- A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle
- A Police Check and/or NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain one)
