Innovative Technology Solutions Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled software consultant to join our team. As a senior developer, you will work closely with clients to deliver high-quality digital products.
Your key responsibilities as a software consultant:
- Work autonomously with a self-driven attitude to own problems and deliver solutions
- Understand complex business and technical problems, learn quickly, understand tradeoffs, and communicate a solution
- Capability to research alternative solutions and propose them within given constraints
- Apply different languages and technologies to projects while coding side by side with other developers on your team
- Implement continuous delivery practices to accelerate the delivery of new valuable functionality to its intended users
- Apply test-driven development practices to ensure high quality of the software and reduce future effort and cost on implementing changes to the product
- Mentor and coach less experienced software engineers in the company and in clients' tech teams, hosting tech meetups and community events to share expertise with others
- Advise clients on the right technical decisions and advocate for the right practices to use
- Be an ambassador for the company, promoting values and the practices used to build software right
- Participate in interviewing and recruitment based on business needs
- Generate thought leadership content relevant to the role to support the marketing department in social media activities and meetups
The skills you would need to be a software consultant:
- Being an expert in one or more coding languages (Java, Python, Spring Boot, .Net, Node.js, C#, React, CSS, Javascript, Typescript, SQL) and being comfortable with learning a new language/technology required for a new client project
- Having experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices
- Applying test-driven development practices (TDD) to work
- Working knowledge of one of the cloud technologies such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform or Azure
- Working knowledge of docker, terraform. Experience with kubernetes would be an advantage
- Being comfortable with one of the agile methodologies for organising their work
- Being flexible and ready to wear multiple hats during the project lifecycle
- A variety of business domains to dive into including retail, finance, construction, and logistics
- Creating innovative custom products to solve complex problems that existing solutions just can't
- Collaborating with a team of top-notch professionals who are obsessed with value, latest tech, and the right way to build a digital product
- Ability to switch projects every 6-12 months to keep you challenged, excited, and growing
- Strong support network from the delivery community of practice, leadership, and tech teams to help address any client challenges
