Aussie Locums is seeking a skilled Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist to join our team for a short-term contract in Newcastle and Toukley.

Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to work in the residential aged care space, providing specialized physiotherapy services to enhance the quality of life for elderly residents. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in addressing mobility, pain management, and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based therapy to residents to address mobility, pain management, and overall well-being.
  • Implement treatment strategies tailored to patient needs.
  • Lead small group exercise classes, rehabilitation, and short-term restorative care.
  • Patient-centered assessments – in accordance with the AN-ACC model – helping residents achieve their restoration care goals.
Requirements
  • Aged care experience preferred but not mandatory.
  • Current FULL AHPRA registration.
  • Current flu + 3 x Covid Vaccinations.
  • NDIS worker screening check.
  • Ability to meet all credentialling requirements.
