Job Summary

A Behavioural Therapist is required to provide individual, group and psychiatric diagnostic assessment services for an Intensive Outpatient Program.

  • Work as part of a clinical treatment team that includes medical and administrative directors of outpatient services.
  • Participate in policy and program development, marketing, data collection, peer review, supervision, and training to personnel, students and volunteers.

Responsibilities

  • Under general supervision, provide individual, group and psychiatric diagnostic assessment services.
  • Develop and implement individualised treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Masters Degree in Social Work, Counselling, Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field of study.
  • Current licensure as an LISW, LPCC, IMFT, LICDC or an equivalent combination of education, experience and licensure.
  • Minimum of three years behavioural health clinical experience.
  • Experience providing intensive outpatient or partial hospitalisation clinical care preferred.
