Job Title: Companionship Caregiver

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to provide companionship care to our residents. As a Companionship Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing personal care including assistance with daily living activities, administering medications, and facilitating individual activities.

Responsibilities
  • Provide resident personal care including assisting with personal hygiene, showering, dressing, toileting, and mobility
  • Administer basic medications as required
  • Facilitate individual activities with residents based on their personal interests and preferences
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A certificate III or IV in aged care or similar
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with residents and their families
  • Commitment to respecting the values, customs, preferences, and spiritual beliefs of residents
