Role Summary

As a key member of the academic team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of nursing education and research at our School. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, student-centred teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead teaching and learning initiatives that enhance the student experience.
  • Provide academic leadership in curriculum development, program coordination, and scholarly teaching practice.
  • Conduct impactful research aligned with our strategic priorities, including securing external funding and supervising HDR students.
  • Foster collaboration across disciplines and with industry partners to drive innovation and excellence.
  • Mentor and support colleagues in learning, teaching, and research approaches to support their professional development.
Requirements:
  • Doctoral qualification in a relevant discipline.
  • Current registration or eligibility for registration as a Registered Nurse with a relevant authority.
  • Distinguished record of teaching excellence and scholarly achievement.
  • Experience in delivering engaged and reflective approaches to teaching that produce excellent student outcomes.
  • Proven leadership in research, including high-quality publications, external funding, and industry engagement.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to mentoring, collaboration, and inclusion.
