About the Role

NES Fircroft is seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects related to water and wastewater infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Civil Design Deliverables
  • Develop and deliver civil design deliverables and documentation for water and wastewater infrastructure, including engineering calculations, hydraulic/surge modeling, detailed design drawings, technical specifications, and reports.
  • Coordinate design outputs with drafting services.
Project Management
  • Effectively manage water projects throughout their lifecycle, including liaising with clients and stakeholders, organizing design inputs from sub-contractors, preparing and managing design schedules and cost control, and contributing to tender submissions.
  • Conduct site inspections, audits, and works supervision.
Requirements
  1. 5+ years' experience in civil engineering with a proven ability to lead and manage projects independently.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  3. Construction Induction (White Card).
  4. Water and Sewerage engineering experience in pump station design, pipeline design, hydraulics/modelling, design management, planning, and feasibility studies.
  5. Knowledge of relevant local design codes and standards (SEQCode, WSAA, Australia Standards).
  6. Experience in AutoCAD, Civils3D, 12D, and Navisworks desirable.
  7. Experience in Hydraulic modeling - Water and Sewage reticulation, bulk-water/Surge.
