Lead Artist: Paint & Roto
We're looking for a seasoned Lead Artist to oversee the paint/roto team's delivery of requested elements and act as liaison between Production and the crew.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with producers, CG supervisors, and production managers on bidding and scheduling.
  • Attend dailies and follow up with the team regarding notes and fixes.
  • Participate in production meetings.
  • Provide clear direction and priorities to the team.
  • Motivate and empower the team to meet deadlines.
  • Identify problems and implement effective solutions.
  • Conduct quality control on elements delivered to compositors.
  • Efficiently complete complex paint/roto shots as needed or time allows.

Requirements:
To be a contributing member of this team, you'll have a mix of these skills:
  • At least 4+ years of feature film VFX work experience.
  • Nuke expertise.
  • Leadership qualities.
  • Strong communication skills with artists, supervisors, and managers.
  • A team player who takes direction well.
  • Dependable under pressure with attention to detail.
