About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Visual Effects Artist to join our team. As a key member of our visual effects department, you will be responsible for combining live action and computer generated elements into visually stunning shots.
Main Responsibilities:
- Evaluate approaches for assigned shots, working closely with artistic and technical teams to ensure creative direction is met.
- Create high-quality composite shots that maintain overall look, color balance, and quality, contributing to a uniform visual style across all finished work.
- Collaborate with team members to determine aesthetic solutions, providing feedback and guidance through regular dailies attendance.
- Mentor junior artists, assisting them with their shots and helping them grow within the team.
- Work effectively to meet defined milestones within tight deadlines.
- Participate in dailies, contributing to creative problem-solving and driving innovative ideas forward.
Requirements:
- Demonstrate expertise in compositing software such as Nuke, Python, and C++.
- Showcase a strong portfolio of compositing skills through a showreel.
- Enjoy problem-solving and possess creative thinking skills.
