Midwife Career Opportunity

This role offers a chance to provide women-centered care within the scope of practice for a Registered Midwife. Our team works across various services, including ambulatory and non-ambulatory units, providing advanced knowledge, clinical support, leadership, and supervision.

We are seeking experienced Registered Midwives who are passionate about delivering high-quality care and working collaboratively with our diverse community. The ideal candidate will be committed to supporting patients in a respectful, compassionate, and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide evidence-based midwifery care to women and their families
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local communities and healthcare providers
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to unit goals and objectives
  • Support education and training opportunities for colleagues and students

Requirements:

  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency as a Registered Midwife
  • Experience in maternity care, preferably in a hospital setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
