Job Opportunity:

A skilled Batch Plant Operator is required to manage the batching process, schedule deliveries, and operate plant equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional phone-based customer service and represent the company brand.
  • Batching Operations: Take orders, finalize sales, and batch concrete to specific mix designs.
  • Scheduling and Logistics: Schedule rostering and truck movements using software.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility requirements and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Procurement: Order raw materials as needed.

Requirements:

  • Experience and Skills: Proven experience in a similar role, proficiency with computers (Command/Jonel batching systems), excellent communication skills, and ability to build rapport with diverse customers are essential.
  • Plant Operation: Previous plant operation experience (FEL preferred).
  • Time Management: Demonstrated ability to prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
