Job Description

This role champions continuous improvement, ensures legislative compliance, and strengthens safeguarding frameworks across operational directorates.

The successful candidate will champion quality practice and client safeguarding, with a focus on Early Childhood Education and Care, Early Childhood supports for children with disability, and supporting vulnerable families to thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Support the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of a comprehensive Client Safeguarding Framework">
  • Provide insights and analysis for the identification of developmental, preventative and corrective safeguard actions">
  • Support implementation of Quality & Safeguarding governance mechanisms across Operations and facilitate sharing of safeguarding and quality data trends from incidents, complaints and feedback">
  • Undertake reviews of individual incidents and complaints for quality, compliance and practice gaps in collaboration with Risk & Compliance and support continuous improvement processes">

Requirements

">

The ideal candidate will have a degree qualified in an area relating to service delivery and in a relevant field (e.g. social work, human services, psychology, allied health, nursing or significant equivalent knowledge, skills and experience).

Must have proven experience in a Quality and/or Safeguarding role with a comprehensive understanding of program and practice challenges, especially in early childhood service delivery.

">

Excellent writing, presentation and communication skills and experience in providing expert advice and quality improvement support.

">

Experience in monitoring, reviewing, and evaluating quality systems, frameworks, processes, and improvement initiatives in response to data.

">

Demonstrated ability to drive change through influence, with the ability to build strong working relationships based on trust and collaboration across all levels of the organisation.
