Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the assessment process at an organisational level
  • Manage the case management aspects of the Safeguarding panel
  • Present issues, identify solutions and recommendations for the Safeguarding panel
  • Develop the knowledge and capacity of staff to prevent, identify and mitigate risks for any allegations or suspicions using the look, do, tell framework
  • Ensure effective case management and specialist support is provided for all major incidents in relation to allegations or suspicions
  • Provide oversight for allegations and investigations, and risk assessments in relation to reportable conduct
  • Provide pragmatic, risk conscious and uncomplicated advice that enables business continuity
  • Maintain accurate records and keep track of all matters using our current case management system

Requirements:

  • Valid Working with Children check
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, ECEC or equivalent experience is highly desired
  • Demonstrated customer service mindset that prioritises the needs of others
  • Ability to learn and operate in a technology-enabled environment
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail are essential
  • Experience working in fast-paced and high-volume environments
  • Understanding and previous experience in managing people processes
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt to different audiences
