Senior Procurement Professional

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Procurement Professional to lead our procurement team in delivering high-quality procurement services. As a key member of our corporate procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing procurement processes, and providing expert advice on procurement matters.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Manage procurement processes from end-to-end, including sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier management
  • Provide expert advice on procurement matters, including compliance with Commonwealth procurement rules and policies
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of the Commonwealth Government procurement framework, including the Commonwealth Procurement Rules and related policies
  • Experience leading teams and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities and strategic directions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop recommendations
