About the Role

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing professional leadership and clinical guidance in relation to strategic and operational projects. This will involve working closely with the Executive Director Medical Services & Clinical Governance (EDMS), Clinical Directors and the Medical Workforce Unit (MWU).

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide professional leadership and clinical guidance in relation to strategic and operational projects.
  • Assist the EDMS, DMS and other Executive Directors in activities related to professional medical issues, medical education, quality and clinical governance and operational management of acute services.
  • Enable the doctor to obtain the skills and knowledge needed to meet the requirements of the RACMA specialist training program.

Requirements

  • Mandatory qualifications: MBBS or equivalent, Hold current Medical Registration with AHPRA, Be a current trainee of RACMA or be eligible for admission as a trainee of RACMA.
