About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Adviser to join our dynamic Business & Tax team in Townsville. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in providing technical advice and guidance to clients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business advisory and tax services, with a focus on preparing financial statements, handling income tax returns, and assisting with business activity statement preparation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports for review by senior management, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Provide expert advice on income tax matters, including individual, company, trust, and partnership tax returns.
  • Support clients with business activity statement preparation and ensure timely lodgement.
  • Conduct thorough research and assist in the preparation of advice and file notes.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A CA or Part CA equivalent qualification.
  • Relevant tertiary or post-graduate qualifications in a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in presenting complex ideas.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and deliver innovative solutions that meet client needs.
  • A collaborative team player with a keen eye for detail and commitment to high-quality service delivery.
Compensation and Benefits
