KPMG is at the forefront of helping clients navigate complex tax landscapes.

We are seeking a Strategic Tax Advisor to join our Business & Tax team in Brisbane.

As a Strategic Tax Advisor, you will be involved in:

  • Preparing financial statements for review by senior management;
  • Preparing income tax returns for review by senior management;
  • Preparing business activity statements for review by senior management;
  • Processing journals into client software;
  • Contacting the Australian Taxation Office regarding various client matters;
  • Reviewing and sorting client information;
  • Assisting with research for advice and file notes;

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a range of clients and develop your expertise in taxation.

You will need to possess:

  • A CA or Part CA equivalent qualification;
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in taxation;
  • A relevant tertiary or post-grad qualification;
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, and interpersonal qualities;
  • The ability to present confidently;
  • Initiative and a willingness to help create innovative solutions.

KPMG offers a competitive salary of $90,000 - $110,000 per annum, plus benefits such as professional development opportunities and a supportive work environment.
