About the Role

Osborne Richardson is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity as a Senior OHS Advisor with City of Yarra in Melbourne.

This role will provide guidance, advice, and support to managers regarding the provision of their OHS responsibilities and the achievement of Council's organisational objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert guidance on OHS matters to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with management to achieve OHS goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote a safe working environment.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to OHS incidents and performance metrics.

Requirements
  • A minimum of [estimated salary: $120,000] per annum depending on experience.
  • Qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., Cert IV WHS or higher).
  • Proven experience in OHS advisory roles within local government or a similar sector.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
