Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Operator to join our team at NES Fircroft. As a Field Operator, you will be responsible for assembling, checking, and loading equipment required for scheduled jobs. You will also drive company vehicles safely, set up trucks, and perform electrical and mechanical checks.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Equipment Assembly and Maintenance: Assemble, check, and load necessary equipment required for scheduled jobs.
  2. Safe Vehicle Operation: Drive company vehicles in a safe manner, observing all company and government regulations.
  3. Site Setup and Rigging: Set up truck, unload equipment and tools, and rig up for job.
  4. Tool Assembly and Electrical Checks: Assemble tools, attaching to and from cablehead, and perform electrical and mechanical checks.
  5. Subsurface Tool Guidance: Guide subsurface tools in and out of well (under direction of Sr. Operator), assist in regulating pressure control equipment, and (under direct guidance of Sr. Operator) operate hoist as required.
  6. Rig Down and Truck Operation: Rig down equipment, load and drive truck to next location or shop.
  7. Equipment Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean truck, tools and equipment, and (under direct supervision) perform routine maintenance in preparation for next job.
  8. Safety and Compliance: Obtain and apply comprehensive knowledge of safety regulations and procedures and observe them at all times. Correct obvious hazards or unsafe conditions and report those which cannot be corrected immediately.
  9. Special Assignments: Perform special assignments as required.
Requirements
  1. Valid Heavy Rigid (HR) Truck License: Have a valid Heavy Rigid (HR) Truck License as a minimum.
  2. Team Player: Be a team player with the ability to build trusting relationships with customers and display good communication skills.
  3. FIFO Rotation: Ability to work a Fly In Fly Out (FIFO) rotation.
  4. Physical Demands: Ability to lift and move heavy items and perform physical tasks for extended periods.

This position requires the full right to work in Australia.
