About the OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in business development within legal or professional services and will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring strategic business development plans.
Main Responsibilities- Partner with senior lawyers to develop and implement business development strategies.
- Lead client relationship strategies, including client listening programs and delivering on commitments.
- Manage tenders, credentials, and industry directory submissions.
- Support major projects and events that strengthen the firm's profile and client engagement.
- Identify opportunities across practice groups and industries to cross-promote capabilities.
- Coach and mentor junior business development team members.
- Proven experience in business development within legal or professional services.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work with senior partners and clients.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Collaborative approach with a passion for continuous improvement and learning.
