Overview

Delivering exceptional cloud gaming experiences requires a relentless pursuit of excellence in production ownership, code quality, and deployments. As a senior site reliability engineer, you will be responsible for driving improvements in reliability and scalability, working closely with cross-functional teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of scalable solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with SRE management to establish metrics-driven decision making and drive business outcomes.
  • Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure their success in the role.
  • Represent the SRE team in organizational settings, fostering collaboration and open communication.
  • Design and implement platform-wide solutions, leveraging technical expertise to drive innovation.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality documentation, ensuring clarity and consistency across all technical resources.
Requirements
  • At least 7 years of experience in software development and/or Linux systems administration.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Availability for on-call rotations, demonstrating a commitment to 24/7 availability and responsiveness.
Skills & Knowledge
  • Proficient as a Linux production systems engineer, managing large-scale web services infrastructure.
  • Experience with distributed data storage at scale, data aggregation technologies, scaling traditional RDBMS, monitoring and alerting, incident management toolsets, Kubernetes, and/or AWS.
  • Development experience in Python (preferred), Bash, Go, Java, C++, or Rust, with a strong focus on coding standards, testing, and code reviews.
