Senior Software Testing Director

Nuix is a passionate and talented team that delights customers with software transforming data into actionable intelligence.

We collaborate to provide innovative solutions for over 2,000 customers in 75 countries, including top financial institutions, corporations, and government departments.

This role leads the Quality Engineering team of 20+ Software Development Engineers in Test (SDET) and Quality Engineering Managers, responsible for all software testing globally across Nuix.

The role drives a culture of continuous improvement in testing practices that supports Nuix' software development practices and philosophy of 'always releasable' software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team delivering system test, integration testing, performance testing, automation, and end-to-end solution testing.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement in testing practices, supporting Nuix' software development philosophy.
  • Enable scrum teams to deliver high-quality software at pace using efficient agile principles, comprehensive testing methodology, and automation.
  • Review and revise quality engineering KPIs to ensure effectiveness.
  • Execute the quality engineering strategy and roadmap to uplift technical capability across Nuix.
  • Manage relationships with quality engineering teams across locations.
  • Establish and maintain vendor partnerships.
  • Make informed commercial decisions meeting organisational quality engineering needs.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years managing Quality Engineering teams with experience in testing best practices, frameworks, and continuous integration.
  • Seasoned leader with experience in managing and developing quality engineering teams within technology organisations.
  • Experience working with and managing vendor partners, offshore teams, and cloud technologies.
  • Strong knowledge in testing best practices, automation tools, and testing frameworks.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with functional teams.
  • Ability to balance technical and leadership responsibilities.

As Senior Software Testing Director you will lead our Quality Engineering team to drive innovation and excellence in software testing.

Our ideal candidate has a strong track record in managing and developing quality engineering teams, with expertise in testing best practices, automation tools, and testing frameworks.

You will be responsible for reviewing and revising quality engineering KPIs, executing the quality engineering strategy and roadmap, and establishing and maintaining vendor partnerships.

In addition, you will make informed commercial decisions meeting organisational quality engineering needs.
