Job Description:

As a Mechanical Fitter, you will play a key role in delivering work orders, including fault finding, repairs and servicing, and renewals of mechanical equipment across the Seqwater network.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing allocated work orders, servicing and repairing assets such as pumps, gearboxes, actuators, cranes & winches etc., and documenting work progressions within the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).

Additionally, the Mechanical Fitter will travel and commute to relevant assets across the network, attend pre-start meetings, and ensure adherence to safety, compliance, policy, and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in Mechanical Trades across large maintenance programs and networks
  • Experience servicing technical mechanical assets, actuators, gearboxes, and pumps
  • A current C Class Driver Licence
  • A Trade Mechanical certificate
  • Proof of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation - HLTAID001 (1 year validity)
  • Proof of First Aid - HLTAID003 (3-year validity)
  • Proof of Gas test Atmosphere- MSMWHS217 (3-year validity)
  • Proof of Confined Space Entry - RIIWHS202E, MSMPER205, MSMPER200 (3-year validity)
  • Proof of Working at Heights - RIIWHS204E (2-year validity)
