Job Details

The Cloud Service Manager is a leadership role that oversees the development and deployment of cloud-based IT systems in conjunction with the Systems and Platform team.

The organization is undertaking a strategic upgrade of its core IT systems, migrating to modular solutions utilizing services available within the Azure environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct complex tasks under broad direction, leveraging expertise across a range of activities related to software application design and development.
  2. Apply strategic and technical expertise to enhance and improve existing software, including designing, developing, implementing, and testing software systems in accordance with business requirements and software development standards.
  3. Investigate and resolve intricate issues affecting the operation of an application.
  4. E nsure timely completion of projects and provide high-quality technical and design documentation.
  5. Be responsible for project progress reporting and ensure compliance with organizational governance processes.
  6. Lead and manage a team to achieve high-quality outputs, including building team capability to maintain expertise and encouraging career development.

Technical Requirements:

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in implementing enterprise IT solutions utilizing Azure services, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Serverless Compute, Azure Functions, Web Apps, Storage, BLOB, File Integration, Service Bus, Event Hub, Identity, Azure Active Directory (AAD), and API Management (APIM).
  • Demonstrated experience in Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines using ARM and/or Bicep templates.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and migrating solution infrastructure to the Azure platform.
  • Demonstrated understanding of risk management principles and processes in the context of infrastructure management.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively while anticipating stakeholder needs and expectations across a dispersed network.
