Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electroconvulsive Therapy Registered Nurse to join our team at Coffs Harbour Health Campus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, efficient, and effective nursing care for patients experiencing mental health problems.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to link and facilitate care across clinical units and services.
  • Contribute to a multidisciplinary team environment, improving the ways members of the mental health team work together.
  • Facilitate a physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual environment that promotes individual and group safety and security.

Requirements

  • Current Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
  • Demonstrated nursing skills, knowledge, and ability relevant to the mental health service.
  • Demonstrated clinical problem-solving skills to maximise patient care.
  • Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to plan and coordinate patient care in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Participation in a seven-day rotating roster including public holiday and night duty.
