Residential Care Training Specialist

We offer a competitive salary of $85,000 - $95,000 per annum, plus benefits including salary packaging, health insurance discounts, banking product discounts, and an employee assistance program.
About the RoleThis part-time position involves providing best practice training and education to residential employees, ensuring compliance with BaptistCare policies. The successful candidate will assess and address the development needs of staff in line with mandatory training requirements and continuous improvement plans.
- The role requires reporting directly to the Lead Education lead and collaborating with the Manager of Residential Care and leadership team at the home/s.
- You will deliver and evaluate training and education programs in line with the BaptistCare Training Matrix and respond to requests for education and training from the leadership team.
- A key aspect of the role is monitoring and updating the Learning Management System (LMS) and providing reporting to the Clinical Education Lead and MRC's on compliance with mandatory training.
To be successful in this role, you will possess a Registered Nurse qualification with a minimum of 3 years' experience in residential aged care and/or acute care environments. Additionally, you will have experience working in a training and/or learning and development setting and delivering training and education sessions/programs.
We are looking for a skilled individual who can manage time effectively, set priorities, and plan workload to meet objectives. You will also be able to collaborate with key stakeholders to achieve agreed results and outcomes.
