Job Overview

Helloworld Travel Limited is a global travel organization with diverse business operations across three key pillars: Retail, Wholesale and Inbound.

We distribute travel products and services to worldwide markets, including renowned brands like Viva Holidays, Sunlover Holidays and GO Holidays operating in New Zealand.

A Day in the Job

As a Commercial Airfare Manager, you will be responsible for negotiating, distributing and managing airfare products from preferred airline partners.

You will collaborate closely with internal teams to manage current air products, secure new offers and implement a broader range of airfare options to enhance our value proposition, grow sales and improve margins.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Negotiate and implement private, net, wholesale and unique fares with preferred airlines
  • Distribute airfares through ticketing businesses
  • Pricing up airfares for marketing campaigns
  • Analyzing sales performance of airfare campaigns
  • Providing competitive analysis of airfares and monitoring trends
Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • Extensive experience in using Global Distribution Systems (GDS's)
  • Thorough knowledge of airfare products
  • Technical expertise in airfare distribution
  • Ability to price up B2B and B2C pricing campaigns
  • Existing relationships with airlines
  • Understanding of New Distribution Capabilities (NDC)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft products, especially Excel and PowerPoint
