Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the technology function of the business
  • Develop and maintain our SQL database, SSRS reports, business applications, and spatial data technologies
  • Drive innovation to business systems and processes
  • Contribute to the design, build, and maintenance of high-quality, scalable, and secure IT infrastructure and systems
  • Drive successful outcomes for the business, including working with service providers to achieve these
  • Establish frameworks to support business processes, including change management and release processes, helpdesk support, and asset and software management
Requirements
  • Qualifications in IT, Computer Science, or a relevant field
  • Technical knowledge of MS SQL Server, MS SQL Server Reporting Services, Python, GIS Software
  • Understanding of Spatial Web Services, REST APIs, CRM/ERP technologies, Hyper-V administration is advantageous
  • Experience of SQL database development
  • Excellent general knowledge of IT systems and applications design/best practice
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to persuade stakeholders and drive successful outcomes
