We're seeking a talented Senior Fashion Retail Operations Lead to join our team. As a senior leader, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your leadership skills and retail expertise within our company. Your responsibilities will include leading a diverse team, executing our vision and strategic goals, driving initiatives for growth and development, and ensuring efficiency in stores, production, planning, and marketing.

About the Role

  • You will lead and inspire a diverse team, leveraging your strong leadership and decision-making skills to drive business results.
  • Oversight of daily operations, ensuring seamless execution across various functions, including sales, service, and marketing.
  • Strategic communication with internal and external stakeholders, including trade meetings, executive reporting, and external partnerships.
  • Team oversight and development, providing guidance, support, and professional growth opportunities to ensure alignment with our strategic goals and brand vision.
  • Culture and engagement, promoting a positive high-performance culture, engaging employees to maintain morale, and creating an enjoyable work environment.
  • Business improvement, building relationships with key partners and stakeholders, exploring new market opportunities, assessing potential growth strategies, and strengthening our market position.
  • Financial management, reviewing budgets and financial reports, managing expenses effectively, allocating resources to support growth, and implementing corrective actions as needed.

Your Qualifications

  • Proven senior-level experience in a 'like for like' role within a small to medium retail organization, preferably with experience in soft goods (textiles and/or apparel).
  • A deep passion for retail, product, sales, service, people, and delivering sustainable results.
  • Ability to articulate a clear vision and create a strong retail sales and service culture, developing plans, targets, and timelines to achieve accelerated growth while maintaining high levels of customer service.
  • A customer-centric mentality and a retailer at heart, believing that customers come first every time and a retail business exists to create 'customers for life.'
  • An understanding of the nuances of a family business, having worked in a similar environment or possessing the ability to adapt to our unique organizational culture.
  • A leadership style that is naturally collaborative, measured in decision-making, and pragmatic in approach.
  • Sound business acumen, having managed significant P&Ls, and a deep understanding of financial levers across all areas.
  • Authenticity, calmness, humility, and down-to-earth approachability.

What We Offer

In this exciting opportunity, you'll enjoy a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on your experience and qualifications. Our design-led offices are based in the inner South East, offering a collaborative and dynamic work environment.
