About this role

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for you to contribute to the development and integration of major defence systems.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing complex engineering programs, working with stakeholders to ensure project deliverables, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and growth.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project success
  • Develop and implement system architecture, requirements management, and verification and validation processes
  • Work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Participate in design reviews, working groups, and other collaborative activities to drive project progress
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A tertiary qualification in a related engineering discipline (e.g., computer science, electrical/electronic)
  • Five or more years of experience in systems engineering, preferably within an ASDEFCON context
  • Strong writing, verbal, and listening skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other tools such as DOORS
  • Advanced problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
