Environmental Educator (Casual) Role

Role Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic, community-minded educators to join our team as casual facilitators for our environmental education programs. This is your chance to make a real impact—guiding residents, school groups, and local organisations toward smarter, more sustainable living.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead engaging workshops and events both during business hours and after hours, including weekends.
  • Deliver high-quality educational content that inspires change and encourages sustainable habits at home, at work, and across the community.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver program content that meets the needs of diverse audiences.
  • Connect with a wide range of audiences through confident communication skills and passion for the environment.

What We Offer:

  • Remuneration: hourly rate commencing at $38.88 per hour.
  • Superannuation: 12% super contribution.
  • Casual loading: 25% casual loading.
  • Annual award increase: annual increases in accordance with relevant awards.

Requirements:

  • Experience in community education and strong communication skills to connect with diverse audiences.
  • Passion for the environment and ability to inspire change.
  • Flair for education and ability to deliver high-quality content that engages and motivates learners.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve program goals.
